WAMBOOL PARK

Public BBQ

Wambool Park offers a charming escape for families, particularly those with train enthusiasts in tow. The shaded playground caters to various age groups, while the expansive grass area provides ample space for ball games and general mayhem. Safety-conscious parents will appreciate the park's positioning well back from the road, with natural fencing on remaining sides. The single barbecue facility handles modest gatherings, though visitors should plan accordingly as toilet facilities aren't available. While the playground equipment shows signs of wear and occasional graffiti, the park's train-themed appeal and bike-friendly paths make it a worthwhile destination for afternoon adventures. Bring scooters and bikes for maximum enjoyment.
